MENTORING FOR ALL AT HEC
OUR AMBITION
Become the European benchmark for mentoring by democratizing access to high-quality support, transforming the lives of thousands of students, and leading research on the impact of mentoring.
By 2030, HEC aims to double the volume of mentoring, with 50% of degree-program students participating in at least one HEC mentoring initiative — an unprecedented scale-up, achieved without compromising on quality.
Mentoring does more than enhance employability — it transforms how students think, make decisions, and shape their lives.
In an increasingly competitive and uncertain job market, mentoring—just like internships—is one of the most powerful tools to change lives. It helps students navigate complex markets, refine their career strategies, leverage the strength of the HEC Alumni network, connect with the right professionals at the right moment, receive actionable advice on sector trends, and build a resilient professional network.
Since 2023, mentoring has become a strategic pillar of HEC Paris. By bringing together technology and methodology, HEC aims to create high-quality mentor-mentee matches and scale up to support more students.
A next-generation technological platform will be deployed in 2026 across all programs. Throughout their journey as students and alumni, participants will be able to act either as mentors or mentees.

TESTIMONIES
Anne-Sophie Roy Prevost (H.97, mentor)
"The Companionship program — or reciprocal mentoring — allowed me to take a step back and reflect on life and career choices. Making coherent, meaningful decisions is essential at every stage of life. Open intergenerational dialogue and respectful maieutics help each person find their path."
Adarsh Murali (MiM student, mentee)
"This program taught me to look for the root of a problem, the value of sharing perspectives, and the importance of acting with intention. All of this changed the way I approach decisions: what used to feel stressful and easy to avoid has become a positive, collaborative, and enlightening process."
Akriti Kanodia (H.22, mentee)
"Raoul was an exceptional mentor. He dedicated a lot of time and provided precious support to help me progress toward my goals."
