Give from abroad

Would you like to support our initiatives from abroad? Promoting equal opportunities, fostering diversity of international backgrounds, nurturing an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, and advancing management research are key strategic priorities for HEC Paris — and you can help make a difference.
Discover the donation methods and tax benefits available in your country of residence.

United Kingdom

Friends of HEC Charitable Trust (UK-based charity) collects donations on behalf of the HEC Foundation. Donors based in the UK can therefore benefit from local tax advantages:
Gift Aid: a mechanism under UK tax law allowing the HEC Foundation to receive an additional 25% on top of the donation amount, at no extra cost to the donor.
A donor paying a higher tax rate (above the basic 20% rate) can also receive an additional tax deduction corresponding to the difference between their tax rate and the basic rate—meaning, for example, a 25% tax deduction for someone taxed at 45%.

Example with a £1,000 donation:
• Thanks to Gift Aid, the HEC Foundation receives £1,250, at no extra cost to the donor.
• A donor taxed at 45% can receive a £313 tax deduction (£1,250 × 25%).
The donation therefore costs £688 net after tax reduction.
